As we continue our stay-at-home orders, we can't help but notice how others are thinking outside the box to change things up to keep up with the changing times.

Sometimes, the stress of everything going on can lead to some productivity roadblocks.

Remember group projects in school?

Have you ever been involved in a group project where one person just didn't pull their weight? We've all been there. Unfortunately, this is can be a problem that carries over to the workplace as well.

So, what do you do when someone seems to be lagging behind?

You may need to get creative and think about all sides of the scenario. The reason may be something you didn't expect. Sometimes you need to dig a little deeper.

Before tackling an obstacle, ask the "who, what where, when, and why" questions.

Find out who is struggling. Ask: what is it they're needing to accomplish, where are they getting their best work done, when they are working most productively, and why they are working in that area in the first place. The answers to these questions may help you tackle the obstacle more creatively.
